Celebrate Pasifika 2008 is a four-week voyage navigating Pacific business, sport, performing and visual arts, film, craft and design.

Launched three years ago, Auckland and Waitakere cities are proud to continue to promote the creativity, vibrancy and diversity of the region's Pacific Island communities.

By working together to present this regional programme we maximise the economic, social and cultural opportunities Celebrate Pasifika can bring to the Auckland region as it continues to grow in the future.

This year's programme features iconic events such as Pasifika Festival, the Pacific Trade Expo and the ASB Polyfest as well as a number of fresh offerings including a focus on heritage.

We hope Celebrate Pasifika will continue to engage with both national and international audiences while acknowledge the extraordinary achievements of our Pacific Island communities.
